ITEM 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On February 11, 2016, Second Sight Medical Products, Inc. (the “Company”) received written notice dated February 9, 2016 from Alfred E. Mann, age 90, Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors, notifying the Company that he was tendering his resignation as a director effective immediately. In connection with Mr. Mann’s resignation, there were no disagreements with the Company, known to an executive officer of the Company, as defined in 17 CFR 240.3b-7, on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
